For 20 years, Robert has lived, worked, volunteered, and raised his family in Durham Region. Currently, he is serving our community as Ward 3 Councillor for the Township of Scugog, where he works every day to make life more affordable for families, strengthen the local economy, support seniors, build more affordable homes, move forward on reconciliation, and create and maintain new middle-class jobs for the people of Durham.

Robert is deeply passionate about taking strong climate action to protect our environment and grow our economy and serves as the Chair of Kawartha Conservation and Vice Chair of Conservation Ontario. In addition to supporting many local organizations and fundraising events in the region, Robert has served on the board of Community Living, the Ajax Pickering Board of Trade, and the Pickering Dolphins.

As the next Member of Parliament for Durham, Robert will work tirelessly with the Liberal team in Ottawa to put more money in families’ pockets, support seniors, grow small businesses, and fight climate change while promoting the nuclear sector that is important to growing our local economy.
